We’re focused on providing opportunities to encourage more women to join the club and recognise that building confidence and riding skills, offering social opportunities and sharing stories and tips on how to start racing are all important elements. We offer skills courses for women only, bike maintenance sessions, women’s only rides for beginners and challenging 100km ride events. We also offer ‘come ‘n try’ sessions for track, road racing and MTB.
We have a Friday ladies Bob Wallis Cycles ride that is for women, supported by the club and run by Bob Wallis Cycles.
The ride leaves Palate & Ply Café on Vernon St at 5:30am on Friday mornings and is a relaxed social ride, around 35km and will have you back at the café by 7:00am for a coffee before work.
